Hello Beautiful! We are so happy that you’re here! Maybe you’re here because you want to gift your honey something, or maybe you’re here for you! Whatever the reason, you’re here for a purpose and that alone promotes the one thing we love and cherish here in our studio….SELF LOVE!
When you decide to work with our studio, (which, why wouldn’t you) Maureen, our studio owner, will arrange a phone consultation with you. During the phone consultation, we will go over any questions you may have, discuss clothing choices, and go over anything that you may be concerned about. A successful photoshoot starts with being open and honest! At the end of the day, we want you to feel nothing shy of confident, sexy and beautiful! Confidence comes with being prepared and knowing what exactly to expect!
Bring Multiple Outfits
Depending on which session you choose, it’s always wise to bring a few extra choices. Don’t forget the little things…thigh highs, tights, hats, under garments, heals and jewelry! You may also want to bring a robe to change into while getting your hair and make up done, or to use between outfits. I suggest bringing some of the following:
- One piece set (bodysuit, teddy, fitted slip dress or corsette)
- Two piece set (bra/undies, high-waisted skirt/bra, garter belt set/bra/stockings)
- Cover up wrap/shawl/cardigan/off shoulder shirt/robe
- Something you LOVE – Jewel and pastel colors or black photograph well
- Something he LOVES- Sports Jersey, sporting prop, tie, favorite shirt, etc.
The Little Things
- About 2-3 days before the shoot, make sure your eyebrows are waxed or plucked. Doing this too close to the shoot could cause redness. You may also want to get a manicure or pedicure…you will be surprised how much they show in your photos!
- Don’t forget to shave…especially if it’s winter. (Who likes to shave in the winter months in NJ?)
- Clear deodorant is your friend!
- Drinking lots of water the week leading up to your session will hydrate your skin, and give you an irresistible glow!
- Cut out ALL tags from your outfits or lingerie.
Don’t Get Hung up on How to Pose
Are you a Pinterest queen? We love a good Pinterest board, but let’s not get too caught up on trying to emulate someone else. Instead, we should concentrate on YOU, and leave the posing up to the photographer. Let’s work on getting comfortable so you trust your photographer to pose you in ways that showcase YOUR assets!
Before You Arrive
- Please come to the studio prepared for your session. Your face should be clean and moisturized. Your hair should be clean, bone dry with no products in it. You should also avoid straightening or curling your hair.
- Wear loose fitted clothing to avoid and lines or marks on your skin! Arriving braless is a staple here.

After Your Session
You will walk out of our studio feeling like a rock star! About 7-10 days after your session, you will receive your online gallery with instructions on how to order your products. Once ordered, products usually arrive in 2-3 business days. Shipping options are available for clients who travel to us.
